On October 16, the Nanhai District Mechanical Equipment Industry Association led a delegation of 12 member companies as the "Order Surge Group," making a strong appearance at the 2025 World Industrial Equipment and Materials Supply Chain Expo held at the Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Spanning over 500 square meters, the exhibition hall showcased a dazzling array of cutting-edge equipment including CNC machine tools, laser devices, hydraulic components, and AI-powered intelligent systems, covering the entire machinery and equipment industry chain. The Nanhai District Machinery Equipment Industry Association organized a collective exhibition under the "mini industrial ecosystem" model, transforming the event into a centralized showcase for Nanhai's machinery equipment regional brands and flagship products. Concurrently, three thematic roadshows—focused on "Intelligent Sealing," "AI Empowerment," and "Enterprise Globalization"—were held to empower companies in achieving targeted breakthroughs.

At the commencement of the exhibition, Li Kai, Deputy Director of the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Shao Kaijian, Party Secretary of the Nanhai District Federation of Industry and Commerce, along with other distinguished guests, commenced their tour of the exhibition. Accompanied by Feng Shangxin, Vice President of the Nanhai District Machinery Equipment Industry Association and General Manager of Guangdong Datie CNC Machinery Co., Ltd., they visited booths to observe product demonstrations. They listened to exhibitors' presentations on new product development, technological innovation, and market expansion efforts, encouraging enterprises to maintain confidence, actively adapt to market changes, and further develop both domestic and international trade markets.

Following the exhibition tour, the member company showcase became the highlight of the event. Representatives from 12 member enterprises took the stage in succession, highlighting their core strengths and collectively declaring, "For quality equipment, turn to Nanhai Machinery Association—we have over 500 member companies," showcasing the collective strength of the cluster. The Nanhai District Machinery Equipment Industry Association boasts more than 500 member enterprises, comprising not only local Nanhai companies but also equipment manufacturers from across Foshan City and other regions within and beyond Guangdong Province.

Leveraging strategic collaboration with the Canton Fair, the expo organizing committee specifically invited overseas buyer delegations from multiple countries to attend. The exhibition area of the Nanhai District Machinery and Equipment Industry Association garnered high recognition from both domestic and international professional purchasing groups. Hundreds of preliminary transactions have been secured, spanning categories such as intelligent equipment procurement, system solution partnerships, and material supply. Some collaborations resulted in on-site signing intentions, demonstrating robust industrial engagement vitality.

Li Kai, Deputy Director of the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, emphasized during his on-site remarks that the machinery and equipment sector is currently experiencing a window of opportunity for exports. Amidst the trend of capacity spillover, robust demand for high-value-for-money equipment exists across multiple global markets. Enterprises in Nanhai can leverage their accumulated technological advantages domestically to reduce investment and achieve significant profit growth. He encouraged association members to engage in frequent communication with companies that have already expanded overseas, fostering mutual assistance. This approach enables equipment-holding enterprises to find sales channels while those with distribution networks can drive growth for their partners.

Shao Kaijian, Party Secretary of the Nanhai District Federation of Industry and Commerce, similarly emphasized the importance of collective overseas expansion. Currently, the district's overseas business initiatives have entered a new 2.0 phase. Aligning with Nanhai's ongoing efforts to deepen the reform of business associations, the district encourages these associations to leverage their resource integration and industrial service capabilities. This will facilitate greater collaboration among upstream and downstream enterprises in industrial chains for coordinated overseas expansion, thereby further enhancing Nanhai's position within the global trade network.
On one hand, accelerate the pace of global expansion; on the other, maintain a strong foothold in the domestic market, pursuing a dual-track strategy of both domestic and international trade. Li Kai called for reinforcing the concept of the "Greater Foshan Market," urging the Nanhai District Machinery Equipment Industry Association to play a coordinating role in serving the city's machinery sector. The government will also build bridges to help enterprises expand their market share within Foshan.

Secretary Shao Kaijian stated that under the current economic conditions, cross-industry and cross-regional multi-point collaboration is more essential than ever. Building upon its foundation in Foshan and its reach across the province, the Nanhai District Machinery and Equipment Industry Association can establish an industrial public service platform.
